The Oneness Temple is in Varadaiahpalem, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was built on the grounds of the Kalki Bhagavan ashram at an estimated cost of $75 million, and is claimed to be the largest pillar-less meditation hall in Asia. The Oneness Temple was designed by Prabhat Poddar, the renowned architect from Auroville Pondicherry. The principles of design for the Oneness Temple was based on Prabhat’s studies and research in architecture, geobiology and the ancient Indian architectural science of Vaastu Shastra. 〔http://religion.info/english/documents/article_388.shtml#.VIPrK9bmCD4〕 At its opening ceremony in 2008, several people died in a stampede. In the week following the stampede, irate crowds led by members of the local Communist Party of India (Marxist) protested against the alleged callous attitude of the Kalki Bhagavan Trust, which resulted in the stampede.〔 (Kalki, Amma Bhagavan cut-outs set on fire )〕 Well-known visitors to the ashram include Shilpa Shetty, Manisha Koirala, Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh Roshan designer Donna Karan, musician Rick Allen and NBA coach Pat Riley 〔 ''"The Oneness University has attracted international celebs'' () "〕 ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Oneness Temple」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
